Meet CATHERINE!
My name is Catherine Purdiman and I was born and raised in Cairo, Illinois, but in 2015 moved to Paducah, KY. I’m the fourth child of five children. My mother’s name is Ethel Purdiman and my father’s name is James Purdiman, Sr. I was raised to show respect to all walks of life, both young and old. I have six children, three girls and three boys; I’ll say I’m blessed.
My journey begins in March of 2021 where I worked day and night to figure out how to build what is now “Love Right at Home”, for that is what I wanted to give those who needed love, help, and compassionate care. I always feel that a smile, encouragement, and a little assistance goes a long way.
I’m passionate about giving quality care with respect and love that brings joy and peace to people’s lives. I have over 20 years of experience in being a caregiver. I was a CNA for 2 years, DSP (direct support personnel) for 3 years, and worked in the Cairo, IL public schools for 3 years as a paraprofessional. I continued my work path in the home care field throughout every job position I held as a caregiver. I’ve worked in assisted living facilities for over 5 years and continue to do private care as I grow my own business.
